POWER OF ATTORNEY FOR CUSTOMS POWER OF ATTORNEY FOR CUSTOMS REPRESENTATION GIVEN TO DSV IN NORWAY on behalf of Company name and organizational number grants DSV Norway power of attorney (PoA) as a custom representative (CR), pursuant to the Movement of Goods Act § 7-21 and the Customs Duty Act § 8-9. The power of attorney concerns all goods crossing Norwegian border. The power of attorney is limited as per choices confirmed below (please check boxes of choice): All goods, both imports and exports Only imports Only exports PLEASE NOTE! When DSV acts only as carrier and provided instructions of customs clearance to be performed by another CR, DSV will comply. Acting as a carrier DSV still require a signed power of attorney – only to be used if CR, as per instructions given, are not able to provide data of clearance in due time. This PoA is valid from date, until it is recalled. Notice of recall must be provided at least 30 days prior to termination of this PoA. This PoA enables DSV to extend the assignment to a third party, when deemed necessary by DSV. The CR acts on behalf of the represented party and in their name, pursuant of the Movement of Goods Act § 7-21 (1). The CR is responsible for submitting the declaration in accordance with the provided import documentation. The represented party carries the responsibility and risk for the veracity and sufficiency of the provided import documentation. The represented party will be considered the declarant and is responsible for any excise duties, pursuant to The Customs Duty Act § 2-3 (1), as well as any other duties that occurs as part of the customs clearance process. This PoA is subject to Norwegian law and is to be applied with Norwegian legal principles.
