Non-sortable packages on a conveyor belt Packages that cannot be automatically sorted on a conveyor belt, may be charged an additional handling costs and be delayed in transit. Additional costs and delay of your shipment may occure, if your packages are packed like following: 1 Irregular shapes Wooden exterior Tires Bubble-wrap Rolled goods Suitcases Exposed metal Sacks Can/containers Assorted packages tied together You should expect your shipment to be rejected if: - Reused packaging - it is weakened from previous transport. - Damaged packaging. - Packaging with “Dangerous goods” label - this must not be used for regular goods. - Fragile packaging - it must be suitable and approved for the content and the weight of it. - Poor packaging - the content of the package may cause damage to other goods. Shipments containing dangerous goods must be in full compliance with IATA and ADR regulations.
