Customer Letter (DSV Road AS) Emne: Notice of Temporary Adjustments to Fuel Surcharge Update Cycles Dear customers, Since our last update, global oil markets have continued to experience significant volatility. The geopolitical situation remains uncertain, and oil prices have increased sharply since the conflict began. This development is directly reflected in diesel prices across Europe. In Germany, for example, diesel prices have increased by approximately 52% since mid-February. These challenging market conditions have a significant impact on the cost base of road transport and have now reached a level where many carriers are no longer able to absorb the cost increases without jeopardizing their ability to operate. To avoid operational disruptions and ensure continuity in our customers’ supply chains during this volatile period, we find it necessary to review fuel surcharge agreements and introduce temporary adjustments reflecting the extraordinary market situation. What this mean for you as a customer: • Fuel surcharge agreements with an update cycle of one month or longer will temporarily be changed to more frequent adjustments. Please note that these changes apply only to the fuel component of the price, reflecting the volatility and changing market conditions resulting from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. We remain committed to maintaining transparency and clear communication. Our teams are closely monitoring developments in oil and fuel prices and will continue to provide proactive updates as the situation evolves. If you have any questions, please contact your usual DSV representative. Kind regards, DSV Road AS 1 DSV public
