Congestion index DSV Logistics S.A. Congestion and idle times lead to ever-increasing productivity losses in road transport, which in turn results in higher costs. Since 2022, the congestion hours have been provided by Viasuisse (viasuisse.ch) to the industry association ASTAG on a monthly basis. Each month, ASTAG publishes the corresponding congestion hours that are relevant for the invoicing in the following quarter (congestion figures in hours (astag.ch). Congestion volume on the national road network in hours Congestion surcharge Q1 2025 The basis for the congestion index is the sum of the congestion hours of the last 4 quarters.
