General Terms and Conditions 1. Our offer is valid subject to the availability of containers, equipment, and location suitability. 2. Our company only undertakes the organization of transportation and does not hold the status of a carrier. Its responsibility is subject to the provisions of Article 6102 of the Turkish Commercial Code regarding Transport Commissioners. 3. This offer, once accepted, shall constitute a contract between the parties (even if not signed and stamped), and e-mail correspondences between the contract parties shall be considered binding and an integral part of this transport agreement, even if the senders are not authorized company signatories. 4. Our offers and rates do not apply to dangerous goods (IMO), special handling, or special cargo. Please contact us in such cases. If we are not informed, we will not be responsible for any freight differences, damages, or penalties. 5. For special equipment (reefer, open top, flat rack), DSV's designated storage and detention rates shall apply. 6. Unless otherwise specified, customs clearance and insurance services at loading/unloading ports are not included. 7. All cargo and materials loaded into the container must comply with ISPM (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures). Non-compliance may result in the container being returned to the loading port or the cargo being destroyed. All costs, penalties, and legal responsibilities will be borne by the shipper. 8. Materials to be shipped must be properly packaged for transport to prevent damage. Unless otherwise stated, loading, packaging, lashing, stuffing, fumigation, etc., are the responsibility of the shipper. 9. Ensure that there are no IMCO labels on the container. If any are found, contact us during the container collection. If detected at the factory, photograph all labels and obtain information from us before proceeding to the port. 10. Compliance with national and international maximum loading and weight limits is mandatory. Any fines or costs due to exceeding these limits will be borne by the cargo owner. 11. For domestic transport, unless otherwise stated, free loading time is 6 hours. Waiting charges will apply after this time. 12. Unless otherwise stated, customs procedures are the responsibility of the shipper. 13. For document cargo requests made by the shipper, the shipper is responsible for any possible issues. In case of lost bills of lading, DSV's standard lost bill procedure will apply. 14. In LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, the basis of 1 m3 = 1 ton applies. Whichever unit is greater, the freight will be calculated accordingly. 15. After booking confirmation from the shipping line, cancellation or rescheduling by the shipper may result in charges due to loss of space and freight. These fees vary DSV
