GENERAL CONDITIONS – PRE-CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION-MCI Brokers NVGENERAL CONDITIONS – PRE-CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION These General Conditions shall be of application to all insurance assignments received by MCI Brokers NV (hereinafter referred to as MCI Brokers) from a client (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”). 1. C ONTACT DETAILS MCI Brokers is an insurance broker, having its registered offices on Schoonmansveld 40, BE-2870 Puurs-Sint- Amands, Belgium, registered with the RPR Antwerp, Department Malines, under Enterprise number BE0837 607 569. 2. C OMMUNICATION Any communication addressed to, and issuing from, MCI shall be conducted in Dutch, English, French, or German. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing between MCI Brokers and the insured party or the Client, all communications shall, as standard practice, be conducted via e-mail or by telephone. B ILLING All premiums and any eventual surcharges and potential additional payments shall be billed in keeping with the Belgian legislative provisions obtaining. Unless the insured party or the Client explicitly rejects this method, all invoices will be electronically processed and sent via e-mail. 5. S ERVICES MCI Brokers is an insurance broker within the meaning of the Belgian legislative provisions. Our services are restricted to insurance brokering and the processing of loss and damage claims related to transport insurance. MCI brokers is registered as a brokerage agency for the insurance classes Fire, Accident, and various other risks.
