Are there any restrictions on cover? This insurance will not cover goods which you may not store according to the applicable terms and conditions for storage insurance The insurance will not cover any damage to the goods if these were not properly packed The maximum insured value is the one reported by you. Please read the average-clause carefully. Contact your DSV contact person in case these maximum amounts are not sufficient. Average clause: if the actual total value of your goods at the time of a loss exceeds the maximum value reported by you, then you will only be entitled to claim the proportion of the loss which the maximum value bears to the total value of your property Where am I covered? Y Your goods are covered while stored by DSV What are my obligations? ▪ You must report loss / damage immediately to DSV and submit your claim within 7 days of discovery of the loss / damage. ▪ You shall, confirm having knowledge of applicable conditions ▪ You shall comply with the applicable terms and conditions, including the terms on proper packaging of the goods against storage risk. When and how do I pay? You shall pay insurance related charges to DSV. Insurance related charges are due per inception. When does the cover start and end? Cover starts when accepted in writing by DSV and ends when accepted in writing by DSV How do I cancel the contract? The insurance contract shall automatically be cancelled when you terminate your agreement. You can cancel your added insurance at any time by informing your DSV contact person in writing.
