IPID DSV Cargo InsuranceAre there any restrictions on cover? This represents a non-exhaustive list of some of the policy restrictions Damages are only paid up to the sum shown in the certificate Sanction Limitation and exclusions may apply If you have purchased another insurance covering the same risk, the DSV Cargo Insurance provides only for subsidiary cover Loss of or damage to goods caused directly or indirectly by certain events, such as but not limited to war, strikes, radioactive contamination, cyber-attack/virus, and communicable diseases Insurance cover may contain other restrictions, please refer to your policy or certificate The insurance agreement will be void in the event of misrepresentation, misdescription or non-disclosure in any way and if any false or fraudulent claim is made Where am I covered? Your goods are covered during transport in the geographical area stated in your certificate What are my obligations? ▪ You must report loss / damage immediately to DSV upon discovery of the loss / damage ▪ You shall confirm having knowledge of applicable conditions ▪ You shall comply with the applicable terms and conditions ▪ Supply sufficient documentation of your loss ▪ All changes in any of the declared facts, including any changes in risk must be notified to DSV Insurance immediately ▪ The answers in any proposal and declaration for this insurance or any information you have provided must be true and complete as far as you know. This obligation will continue to apply throughout the correspondence with DSV When and how do I pay? You shall pay insurance related charges to DSV. Insurance related charges are due per inception When does the cover start and end? Cover commences in accordance with incoterms and stated terms and conditions for the specific cover/transport How do I cancel the contract? In respect of individual covers, the insurance policy cannot be cancelled once the insurance has been attached in accordance with incoterms.
